The Ontario Student Assistance Program has undergone a lot of changes. Many of the grants students were previously able to access have been changed to loans. The changes also lowered the maximum family income for eligibility for student assistance to $140,000. The province lowered tuition by 10%, or $660 for universities and $340 for colleges. That lowered tuition is not made up by government funding though, so that leaves universities with a $360 million revenue loss and colleges with a loss of $80 million.
